Dual Electronics Corp. announced its award-winning GPS Navigation & Battery Pack for iPod ® touch (XGPS300 model) will be available in stores this month. The Cradle, which resembles a battery box in size and weight, provides a complete GPS navigation solution for the iPod touch, including changing NavAtlas-by-turn navigation application with TTS, and a car holder. The cradle will be less than $ 179.99.

The cradle includes a GPS receiver and comes with dual application NavAtlas ® - a fully-featured step turn navigation application with TTS technology and the latest U.S. maps and Canada from NAVTEQ. The cradle also includes a rechargeable battery, amplified speakers, audio out connection and mini USB port. An adjustable windshield mount included for use in vehicles. The application NavAtlas, which works exclusively with the cradle, includes all the common features in the NDP and more, and will be available in the iTunes App Store for free.

The cradle is ideal for in-car or handheld use, and complies with the requirement for Apple to provide GPS location data for any application that request, including applications for hiking, cycling, social networking, geocaching and navigation applications
